In response to a fan's question on Twitter, Larian Studios' director of publishing Michael Douse said that there will be a couple of announcements related to the Divinity franchise as well as more information on Baldurs Gate III.
Nevertheless, console players may still have reason to tune in to next month's Guerrilla Collective event when the developer takes to the digital stage. That's only confirmed to be releasing on PC and Google Stadia at the time of writing, although we've made it quite clear that we're hoping for a PlayStation 5 version in the future.
Larian Studios has made a name for itself in the console space over the past generation with Divinity: Original Sin and its excellent sequel, and the developer looks to be in pole position to replicate that success with Baldurs Gate 3.
